Jalupro Classic and HMW Treatments
Introduction
Jalupro is a sterile reabsorbable injectable solution which acts as a dermal biorevitaliser, which is used for improving skin texture, brightening the skin and minimising evidence of fine lines & wrinkles. Results from clinical tests show, a rapid increase of fibroblasts, reduces the rate of collagen breakdown, stimulates collagen production and the production of growth factors.
It is a unique, fast-acting solution that contains rich ingredients that support the radiance and rejuvenation of the skin. Jalupro can quickly restore the skin’s connective tissue to provide you with a healthy and smooth-looking complexion.
Jalupro is ideal for clients that want a softer look or those that are not ready for dermal fillers. However, it can also be combined with fillers and/or anti-wrinkle injections to enhance the result.
What does a Jalupro treatment involve ?
Jalupro involves a series of small injections of the product into the target area/s for treatment. Using a formulated blend of amino acids that work by feeding the connective tissues beneath the skin, this product helps to generate collagen and nourish the skin.
There are two types of Jalupro:
Classic & HMW.
Classic is more suited to the younger person who is exhibiting the first signs of skin ageing or to prevent them.
HMW contains more hyaluronic acid which is suitable for the older person and provides scaffolding for more aged skin, helps with deeper lines requiring more moisture and for deeper scars.
What are the benefits of Jalupro ?

Is Jalupro safe ?
Generally Jalupro is suitable for most people as it contains substances naturally occurring in the body, however but it cannot be administered to the following:
- Anyone that is pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Any skin infections or irritations in the area to be treated.
- Autoimmune diseases.
- Hypersensitivity to any of drug components.
Are there any side effects of the treatment ?
You may experience minor swelling in the treated area, a slight itching sensation (this subsides quickly).
As with any injectable product there is always a risk of bruising. There may be some bumps, swelling or erythema at the injection sites which normally resolves in a few hours. In some cases, this may last for around 24 hrs.
Is treatment painful ?
We understand that some clients dislike the idea of needles. Although Jalupro is an injectable treatment, it uses a very fine needle so you should not be able to feel too much.
If you are nervous or treatment is in a more sensitive area, we can use a topical anaesthetic in advance of treatment.
How long does the treatment take ?
The treatment takes around 30 minutes; however, this can vary depending on the area being treated. A full consultation will be carried out on your first visit, including health and lifestyle questionnaire and consent forms.
What areas can be treated ?
Almost all areas can be treated however the most popular areas are Face, Neck, Décolleté, back of the hands.
How soon will I see results ?
Once the product is administered into the dermis, you will notice some instant results, including increased hydration and skin volume, and reduced signs of ageing.
You will see a difference after just one treatment, including a more toned, lifted appearance. Skin will be more hydrated and slightly plump, as collagen production continues you will see greater results after subsequent treatments.
What do I need to do after treatment ?
You will be able to resume most regular activities immediately after treatment, you will be advised to avoid using steam rooms, saunas, sun beds, avoid exercising and wearing makeup for 24 hours after treatment.
All aftercare will be discussed on the day of treatment.
Are there any things I need to know to prepare myself for having a Jalupro treatment ?
This will be discussed with you at your pre-treatment consultation in depth.
Things we need you to be aware of are:
- Avoiding consuming alcohol at least 24 hours before.
- Avoiding blood thinning medication or anti-inflammatories a few days leading up to treatment (these can increase the possibility of bruising).
- Avoid any hair removal a few days before treatment (shaving, waxing, threading) in the area/s you wish treating.
- Avoid using products with anti-ageing ingredients (retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, glycolic acid) a week leading up to treatment.
After care / How to look after skin after
- No makeup for the rest of the day, to keep the skin clean and minimise risk of infection.
- Avoid hot showers or saunas for the rest of the day, as the heat can slow down healing.
How much does it Cost ?
Jalupro Classic – £150 per treatment or £350 for course of 3.
Jalupro HMW – £200 per treatment or £450 for a course of 3.
How many treatments will I need ?
Jalupro Classic generally requires 3 treatments spaced 10 days apart.
Jalupro HMW generally requires 2 treatments spaced 20 days apart.
