Mesotherapy

Introduction

Mesotherapy is a technique most commonly used in Aesthetic skin rejuvenation and a favourite Celebrity Red Carpet treatment. It is often referred to as the ‘Vitamin Facial’ or the ‘Mesolift’ as it delivers delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate, promote production of collagen and elastin, and stimulate the cell’s metabolism.

Mesotherapy is facial skin rejuvenation treatment that infuses the skin with potent vitamins, micronutrients and antioxidants to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin. The vitamins and antioxidants in the injections help to stimulate the cells to produce collagen and elastin.

    • Visible instant results. no down time.
    • Plumps and hydrates the skin instantly to give a wonderful glow and radiance.
    • Hydrates the skin from the inside out.

What does the treatment involve ?

It is a safe, natural alternative to invasive cosmetic procedures, and is a term used to describe a series of micro injection techniques also known as Nappage which injects substances superficially into the epidermis. Each injection leaves a small amount of product on the skin which will quickly absorb.

Mesotherapy delivers hyaluronic acid, growth factors and vitamins into the crucial layers of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a key component of youthful hydrated skin but as we age it’s levels deplete and this can leave our skin looking dehydrated and lack lustre.

Is mesotherapy safe ?

Yes, treatment is very safe when carried out by a competent Practitioner.

Are there any side effects ?

The side effects are very minimal – there can be some blotchiness and mild swelling for several hours after treatment, but most clients return straight to normal activities.

Although the skin is injected multiple times, the combination of super-fine needles and our mesotherapy injection techniques means that there is very little in the way of bleeding – sometimes none at all.

Is treatment painful ?

We understand that some clients dislike the idea of needles, but the actual mesotherapy process is relatively comfortable and surprisingly pain-free. It’s best described as a pinching sensation.

If you are nervous or treatment is in a more sensitive area, we can use a topical anaesthetic in advance of treatment.

How long does it take ?

Allow 45 minutes.

What results can I expect ?

Clients commonly describe their skin as looking radiant, glowing and firmer, although we generally recommend a short course of treatments for the best results to be seen.
Results develop over time as collagen is built.
